So far I like everything about this mill. Already owned the saw. Used it to "slab" some 28 inch White Pine trees where they fell. Next I will be doing the same with three Black Maples that must be processed where they fall. Think I will be purchasing the rail system to make my set up a bit easier. Thanks for a great product.
The husband loves it! He’s made boards to fix our shed and he’s been using it to make boards for camp can’t wait til spring for him to build with them . He says where has this been all his life we’ve spent a small fortune on boards now we don’t have to!
I had some old reclaimed oak timbers that i wanted to cut into planks. The timbers were over 13" wide and with this mill, made some very nice boards. I bought a Stihl 661 with 36" bar to use with this mill and it worked great with a ripping chain. The assembly took a little time but its easy to use once its put together. I didn't experience any brackets or bolts working loose. I cut two 16' l x 1 3/4" w planks and rechecked everything. All bolts tight and nothing loose. i've used it quite a bit now and no problems. If you are milling a lot of lumber, this may not be ideal but for smaller projects, works great.
The cutting machine is very satisfied. It has been disassembled just after taking it back. It is very good in all aspects and has a beautiful appearance. It has been recommended to my friends. They will come to this store to buy if they need it. I wish the seller a prosperous business. Prosperous.
This does what it is supposed to do, without much of a headache. My husband has been very happy with it, and has cut some really nice boards from some trees we had taken down. It took him about 15 min to put together and once he figured out he needed to put a 2x4 on top of the tree for the first cut on each side (b/c the tree starts out as round and the mill needs a flat surface to slide along), it was a pretty simple job. Would recommend!
