I love this launcher! It's easy to use and makes playing with my dog a lot more fun. Sometimes you get tired of playing fetch the traditional way so this is a life-saver. It does take some effort to teach a dog how to use it, but it's not difficult. We got out dog using it on his own in less than a day. I'd recommend to anyone with a dog that loves fetch - which is just about all of them!
This is a nifty little gadget! My dog gets tired of toys pretty easily and I figured this would be a decent alternative to those electronic ball throwers. After a week, he still uses this one pretty well so far!
The toy comes with two tennis balls and a scoop to pour treats into the hopper. The idea is that your dog will drop the ball into the chute and the toy will dispense a treat. There’s a lever inside the chute that allows treats to come out. The included balls roll out about 5 ft on a hard surface. However, any ball the size of a tennis ball will work! I have tried Chuckit balls and those niteize LED balls. I have to say the heavy LED balls roll the farthest and fastest.
Very straight forward and doesn’t require it to be powered!
Love that it engages my dog til she tires, which is not to quick. She's a corgi and is learning to bring back, but doesn't give the ball back so we keep two balls going to get her to drop one
I bought one of these for our Golden Retriever. It took a while to train to put ball in bucket, but, once figured out it's the highlight of the day! Relentless, in fact! So much so that we've worn that one out and just purchased a new one!
We love it. Definitely buy it. Some people say that it doesn’t throw far just make sure to adjust the length on the bottom of the go dog go and use a tennis ball or a lightweight ball it will launch really far if you use a heavier ball say like a tennis ball with a squeaky toy inside it it won’t launch as far.
