I suck at doing sit ups. My form has never been correct and I end up putting strain on my neck and never actually working my abs. I bought this in hopes of being able to finally do sit ups correctly.
it came in the mail today and quickly rushed to assemble it. Took about 20 minutes total. Pretty easy to put together but i did have an issue getting the handle bar though the mesh part. I tested out the product and after 20 crunches my abs were on fire. SUCCESS! No strain on my neck and just my abs working. Very happy i bought this. Yes, i've only used it once so far but i see great things coming from it.
As a 74 year old lady, it took me awhile to become acclimated with this sit up assistant frame, but I now have it down to a science. I noticed a difference right away and I use it daily along with machines at the rec center. I can't really do the dips and dives or whatever they are called, but I use it as a tummy cruncher which is why I bought it. The bar also helps me stable myself back on my feet when I'm finished.
My wife complained about my gut. I am 72 years old, road ride 100 miles a week, use a chair workout system and did freeze the fat.
Yes, I am vain.
So, I bought this to get my six pack back. One word of caution. it will take some effort on your part.
I've had it for 5 days, used it everyday so far, and will go to every other day in two weeks. I can already tell that it's going to work.
I have join issus and a bad knee this is oerfect for me.
Im a bit to short at 5"3 to use it successfully for sit ups but my toddler likea to help push me back down when i do so its fun for us both.
I find it very usfull in all other workouts from puahuos to even an extra support if needed for lunges and squats! .
Those when assembling while most od it was basic and easy. Adding the fabriced bar onto the 2 side once was a ***** . Was kind of a work out in itself lol
Arrived in a sturdy box, well packed with no content shifting. Simple assembly and feels really sturdy. Took about 20 minutes to put together with my husband (does require some opposing force when fitting the pieces together and aligning the screw holes. Tried it once we had it put together and felt the crunch burn immediately without using my poor abused spine (I've had lumbar Laminectomy & discectomy). We'll see how it goes over time, but for now, I'm impressed. Especially considering the low cost... Looks like a win-win from my perspective. Highly recommend.
