I use this with my band and with the worship team at my church. I really can walk 100 feet away from my amp and pedals without losing signal. When I first plugged it in I walked to the back of the worship center (about 80 feet) without losing signal no real latency. I then walked down the stairwell to the basement, so I was still about 80 feet from the amp and had a foot of concrete floors, walls and steel structure in between, and still no loss of signal and no noticeable latency. Often times I walk to the middle of the stage as far as my cord will go to listen to the balance of the band during rehearsals as we are very spread out. When I was able to walk beyond that 20 ft length down to the seating, it brought a few laughs and smiles from the team because it was so unexpected. (just a little anecdote about how fun it is to be wireless)
I haven't used it out with the band, yet-- but I can't wait. At this price, I'm recommending it to everyone I talk to about wireless instruments and probably gonna get a back up one, too. Right now, I'm trying to talk our violinist into it as he has such a cumbersome cord that sticks out.
It's really easy to use, really easy to charge and, so far, completely reliable. Buy one!!
This kept popping up on my Instagram, so I decided to try the wireless unit out. I was shocked that they came with a full charge. I play my guitar for about an hour every day so I only charge the transmitter and receiver once a week. I honestly can't tell the difference between the wireless and a 15 foot cable. I do notice some harmonics are not picked up, but this could also be from my noise suppressor pedal. I'd recommend to any guitar player. It feels great to be able to walk around the room and play and not be confined to just where my pedals are.
I like it. it worked great right out of the box. it was very easy to pair the two. it came fully charged. didnt notice any delay or static other than my effects....good for the price might buy a few more...charger cable works for both at the same time but havent used it yet
These wireless guitar to amp transmitters work like a charm. They are very liberating as one can play without entanglement and limits of wires. It has made playing guitar more enjoyable. Convenience means I play more frequently. I have had these 3 months now and they still work nicely. I have not noticed any low or high note transmission loss and they seem to work as well as any cord system. They are a good value. I plan to buy another pair for my son who plays so he will quit borrowing mine.
I bought this thing mostly just for playing at the house, because I dont want cables being left out all over the place (I'm really bad about this) I messed with it in the jam room for a few days, then decided to give it a try at a gig I was playing at an art fair. It sounds great, and I have noticed no latency problems, the range is better than I expected, and the battery life is pretty dang good. I got roughly 2.25 hours of use out of it at that gig. I would have got more had I turned it off at breaks and such. Very impressed for the money invested.
